Lexicon Interactive and generativ AI

Generative AI at Lexicon Interactive

Working with generative AI is, for us, a bit like having a few extra colleagues on the team — resources we can rely on to strengthen the things we already do well. When we’re missing a certain type of expertise or need to develop something entirely new, we can sometimes create it ourselves, for example through tailored AI assistants in the form of CustomGPTs.

We use generative AI to:

  • create voice content and visual expressions
  • develop avatars for learning and guidance
  • refine texts and generate ideas
  • reason and explore different approaches
  • stay up to date in a rapidly changing world.

Everything we do with generative AI is guided by clear responsibility, grounded in our experience, our expertise, and our quality standards.

How we use generative AI in our creation process

Voice generation and voice cloning

With generative AI, we can create voices tailored to different needs. This might be an AI-generated voice, a cloned version of a real person’s voice, or a traditional recording. Each option has its strengths, and we choose the one that best supports the content.

We help you find the right voice for the right situation. Sometimes a human presence is essential; other times, a neutral voice works better. What matters most is that the voice supports the experience and contributes to clarity and cohesion.

Listen to the voices

Avatars in digital production

AI-generated avatars can give a production a clearer tone and a more personal expression. In some cases, a visual guide works better than a voice or text — especially when the content needs to be introduced or explained step by step.

In the digital, IPMA-registered course Att arbeta i projekt for instance, we created an avatar of the instructor Johan Hydén.

Image generation in creative processes

With generative AI, we can produce images that support ideation, visualization, and production. This could involve sketching concepts, illustrating ideas in early stages, or creating final assets for digital training and presentations.

We use image generation where it adds real value — to present proposals to clients, create visual references early in the process, or generate variations on a theme. Sometimes we create entirely new images; other times, we enhance existing material to better fit the content.

It’s not about replacing graphic design or real illustration. It’s about strengthening and complementing them where it makes sense. As with all our work, quality is always the foundation.

Generative AI is a creative tool in the writing process. It can provide new perspectives and help refine content, but we are always responsible for the final result and ensure that it meets the level we strive for.

Text processing and idea generation

Generative AI is a creative tool in our writing process. It can provide new perspectives and help refine content — but we always carry full responsibility for the final result, ensuring it meets our standards.

Generative AI is a powerful support in written work. We use it to explore text ideas, find new formulations, adjust tone, and work with structure. It might involve refining a script, making a text more accessible, or exploring alternative ways of expressing the same idea.

We use different tools depending on context. Sometimes ChatGPT acts as a sounding board early in ideation. In other cases, we build tailored AI models — CustomGPTs — to handle specific topics, tones, or regulations. Microsoft Copilot is also part of our everyday workflow.

It doesn't matter which AI tool you use. What's important is that you dare to try, ask questions, and ask for help.

A thought partner in everyday work

Whether you’re using ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, or another AI tool, the most valuable function may simply be having someone (or something) to bounce ideas with. AI is fast, curious, unpretentious, and available exactly when you need it.

It works just as well for getting started as for evaluating what you’ve already written. And unlike a human colleague, AI never needs a coffee break — you can iterate as much as you want. It never gets tired of it. Not even a little.

And when it says “final version,” all it really means is: “This works if you want it to — but I’m here if you want to keep going.

How generative AI can become part of your training

Generative feedback in training

We use generative feedback in several of our training programs — to strengthen reflection around values, create engaging self-assessment exercises, and make onboarding more personal.

How can AI provide personalised feedback in learning?

Here, you can try a playful example of generative feedback in action.

By answering a few questions, you’ll discover your “inner animal,” along with an AI-generated description and image that reflect your choices.

This demonstrates how AI can create a personal and engaging experience that deepens reflection and makes learning more memorable.

This is a demo in swedish. In real training, we always adapt the content, tone, and format to your goals and audience.

Generative learning with a virtual tutor

Imagine an AI assistant trained on your specific subject matter, seamlessly integrated into the training experience. A virtual tutor available around the clock — before, during, and after the learning journey.

When the assistant is also trained in pedagogical methods, the impact becomes even greater. It can guide learners step by step through complex content, support reflection with dilemma exercises, or simply be available to answer questions when something is unclear.

In this demo, we trained the AI assistant on the Swedish Government Ethical Principles and included several dilemma scenarios connected to those principles. These can be used in both digital and in-person learning contexts.

The user selects emotions as the basis for AI-generated feedback.

Emotions around AI

In this example, the user is asked, “How do you feel about AI?
By dragging words like Nyfikenhet (Curiosity), Frustration (Frustration), or Oro (Concern) into place, the user creates the basis for the reflection that the AI will later process.

This activates the user and strengthens engagement right from the start.

AI-generated text about personalized feedback based on the user's choices.

Personalised AI feedback

Once the user has made their choice, the AI creates a personalized text feedback that ties in with the chosen emotions.

The user receives wording that reinforces reflection and makes learning more vivid.

This example shows how the AI can provide nuanced, personalized text-based feedback to support reflection.

More AI from our partner ELB Learning

We are the Swedish reseller of ELB Learning’s tools for digital learning, where AI is now a natural part of the functionality.

In tools like Lectora, MicroBuilder and CenarioVR AI is used to streamline production, support content creation, and enhance user experiences.

We use these AI features in our own productions and also help our clients make the most of them — in a smart, thoughtful way.

Responsible use of AI, privacy and care

In many cases, we work with content that belongs to our clients, not to us. This is important — and we want to be clear about it.
We never upload or process personal data, or text and images that may contain sensitive information, in open AI tools.

When we use AI to create or process content, we always do so with the client’s approval and with full transparency about how the tools are used.

In cases where we clone someone — meaning we create a digital copy of a person’s voice and/or video for a specific purpose — we regulate the usage clearly in agreements. This ensures that everyone involved feels secure about how and where the material may be used.

We see AI as a powerful support in our work, but we are equally committed to using it responsibly and with respect for both client and individual integrity.

We work methodically with generative AI to elevate the quality of what we produce, both internally and together with our clients. AI helps us be more precise, unlock creativity, and create greater value in every delivery.
Our experience allows us not only to use the technology effectively — but also to help others do the same.
